Leads & trials
From enquiry to enrolled,
without a spreadsheet
An enquiry arrives, someone tries a class, and either they join or they do not. This keeps that in one place, with the trial tracked as a real state rather than a note somebody wrote on a pad.
What it does
The trial is a status, not a sticky note
- Enquiries land as records
- A form on your own website writes straight into the system, so an enquiry is a record with a source attached rather than an email somebody has to remember to act on.
- Prospect, on trial, expired, cold
- Four real states, in English and Spanish. A trial that ran out is something you can find and act on, which is the entire difference between following up and forgetting.
- Assigned, dated, noted
- An enquiry belongs to a member of staff, carries a follow-up date and keeps its notes, so the next conversation starts where the last one finished.
- Consent captured at the point of enquiry
- Email and SMS permission is recorded per lead when they ask, not assumed later. Retrofitting consent onto a list you already built is not really possible.
What it is not
This is lead tracking, not a marketing platform
There are no automated nurture sequences here, no drip campaigns and no no-show recovery workflows. Some competitors build their whole product around that, and if it is the main thing you are shopping for, one of them will suit you better. We would rather say so now than after you have moved your data across.
What we are good at starts the day someone actually joins — keeping them, and knowing months in advance when you are about to lose them. That is where the product is deep, and it is where the money in a membership business is really made or lost.

Questions
The things people actually ask
Where do new enquiries come from?
A web form on your own site feeds straight into the system, so an enquiry arrives as a record rather than as an email someone has to remember to act on. Enquiries added at the desk work the same way.
Is a trial tracked differently from an enquiry?
Yes. "On trial" and "expired trial" are statuses in their own right, not a note in a field. A trial that ran out is a distinct state you can find, which is the difference between following up and forgetting.
Do you record whether someone agreed to be contacted?
Yes. Email and SMS consent are held per lead and captured at the point of enquiry. That matters more every year, and retrofitting consent onto a list you already built is not really possible.
Does it send automated follow-up sequences?
No. You can record a follow-up date, assign an enquiry to a member of staff and keep notes against it, but Black Belt CRM does not run automated nurture campaigns. If a marketing automation platform is the main thing you are shopping for, we would rather tell you now than after you have moved your data.
