Team placement, not a progression

There is no grading ladder. What matters is which team an athlete was placed on and when, because that decides their schedule, their bill and their competition entries for the whole season. Placement is held against the athlete with its date, so a mid-season move is recorded rather than remembered.

Season costs, billed to the squad

Choreography, music, uniform, competition entries and travel are team costs divided among a fixed roster. They arrive in lumps on the competition calendar and they are the single most common source of billing disputes in this business — because the family who left in November is still on a uniform invoice. One-off charges against a roster, with a record of who paid and when, is what makes that conversation short.

Tryouts, and the members who only exist for a season

A season-long membership that ends is not churn, and counting it as churn misstates your retention every spring. Suspending rather than cancelling keeps an athlete's record and history for next season's tryouts, and stops the annual roster reset reading as a crisis in every report.

Can we bill a whole team for one cost?

A one-off charge can be applied across a roster, with each family's payment tracked individually — so the shared cost and who has covered their share are the same record.

What happens to athletes between seasons?

Suspend rather than cancel. History and placement are kept, billing stops, and they do not count toward your tier.
