Mindbody pricing 2026 for small studios: what is published and what to ask
Mindbody publishes a starting price of $79 a month per location; plans are priced by sales. What its pricing page and terms say, the marketplace fee.
Mindbody is the largest name in fitness and wellness software, and its pricing page publishes a starting price rather than a full price list. Here is everything that is public, checked on October 24, 2026, and the questions worth asking for the rest.
What the pricing page shows
From mindbodyonline.com/business/pricing:
- “Starting at $79 USD/month per location” (North America and Asia).
- Four plans, Starter, Accelerate, Ultimate and Enterprise, each with a “Let’s talk” button rather than a price. Sales discusses “available discounts that fit your studio’s size and budget”.
- Pricing is per location: it increases with new locations, not with staff. Every plan includes unlimited users.
- The branded app is an add-on on Accelerate and Ultimate; marketing automation is in Ultimate only. Add-on prices are not published.
- Payments: “a payment processing rate plus a fixed fee of $0.10 to $0.30”; the percentage is not published.
- No onboarding fee on any plan; data transfer is a separate service where “fees may apply”.
So we cannot tell you what a 75-student business pays at Mindbody. Nobody can without a quote.
The marketplace fee
Mindbody’s consumer app is a genuine discovery channel: their martial arts page says you can “Get discovered by 3M+ active users”. When the app brings you a new client, Mindbody charges 20%, capped at $30, on that client’s first purchase, and only then.
Contract, cancellation and your data
From Mindbody’s terms of service, last updated March 20, 2026:
- “the initial term of this Agreement is 90 days”, then it “automatically renews in successive and consecutive 30-day periods”.
- Either side may terminate “by giving the other Party at least 30 days’ notice”.
- “All payment obligations under this Agreement are non-cancelable and all fees paid are non-refundable.”
- After notice, data stays available through standard services for “no greater than 30 days”, and a full export runs through “Mindbody’s data export service”, which their blog says is “for an added fee”.
Questions to ask before you sign
- The monthly price for your plan at your size, per location, in writing.
- The card processing percentage, not just the fixed fee.
- The price of each add-on you need: branded app, marketing automation.
- Your term length and renewal date.
- The data export fee if you ever leave.
How we price, for comparison
BlackBeltCRM publishes every rung: $49 a month up to 25 members, $119 at 51 to 100, $249 at 501 and up, with every feature on every plan and extra Locations at $39 each. Month to month, and you can export your members to CSV or Excel yourself at any time. See the pricing page, the comparison, the Mindbody alternative page and Mindbody alternatives for martial arts and small studios.
Fair is fair: we have no consumer marketplace. If being discovered in an app is what fills your classes, Mindbody’s network is a real reason to choose it.
