Mindbody alternatives for martial arts schools and small studios (2026)

Five Mindbody alternatives for martial arts businesses and small studios, with published prices at 75 students, contracts and what each does best.

Mindbody suits many studios, especially ones that get new clients from its consumer app. Martial arts schools and small studios often look elsewhere for three reasons: they want a price they can read before a call, terms without a 90-day initial commitment, and belts and testing built in. These are five alternatives, with facts from each vendor’s own pages, checked on October 24, 2026. We make the first one, so weigh that.

How to choose

Decide what limits your business today. If it is new students, look at Spark, Zen Planner or Mindbody’s marketplace. If it is keeping the students you have and getting paid on time, that is what we built BlackBeltCRM for. Either way, ask every vendor the same questions: the price at your size and at double, the contract and notice, and how you get your data out.
